A Journey To Get Passive Income

From around 2 weeks ago, I wrote about ‘my trip’ to get passive income and semi-passive income. It’s divided into some parts, and still ongoing.

Because my native language is Indonesian, then I wrote in Indonesian. Initially, I intend to translate it into English. But because of many informal writings on there and the length of posts, I abandoned the plan.

If you are interested to read it, please check here and translate it via Google Translate. Translation from Indonesian to English is good enough, on average over 80% accordingly.

In previous article, we already know about Webmin and virtualmin, also how to install Webmin. Webmin alone (without virtualmin) is suitable for VPS with small RAM, between 128 s / d 512 MB or 768 MB. As for VPS above 1 GB or even a dedicated server, it is better if you installing virtualmin and Webmin. This is because with 1 GB usually can be used for more than one website. And it is not easy to to manage more than one website with just using Webmin.

In this tutorial, we assume you already rent a VPS or a dedicated server from the provider.

There are two things to note:

1. Installing Webmin and virtualmin should be done in the beginning. I mean, fresh install. After you rent the VPS and still not install anything. Because if there are lots of other programs installed, if error happened, it’s hard to check and repair them.
